What is Teacher Education?
I entered Simon Fraser University's Professional Development Program (or PDP) in the January intake. This means I start in January and if everything goes well, I will be done in December.
PDP is divided into three parts:
In PDP, I was sent to the LUC Module; LUC stands for "Literacy in the Urban Classroom," and fortunately for me, we are based in the Surrey Campus.

Aboriginal EducationAboriginal Education (AbEd) is an important emphasis on Simon Fraser University's Teacher Education Program. As a requirement, all PDP students are required to show their critical thinking and reflective capacities on Aboriginal Education. Below are links to two of our program's important assignments: An AbEd Learning Log and a File of (Un)Certainties. Please click on the link to learn more.
